- Меньше ест памяти;
- Больше не инициализирует заново объект LevelDB при получении чекпоинтов;
- Инициализирует индекс блоков в среднем на 10% быстрее.
Как известно, код оригинального клиента Сатоши очень сложно собрать под Win64. Фактически создается впечатление, что его специально писали так, чтобы под Win64 не собирался.
Тем не менее, потратив некоторое время на разбирательство с ошибками компиляции и крэшами уже собранного проекта, собрали рабочую нативную сборку под Win64.
Предварительное тестирование показало, что клиент вполне работоспособен, но все же относиться к нему следует с осторожностью.

Add scrypt+sha512 key derivation method.
Disabled by default. You can use -derivationmethod option to choose which method will be used for wallet encryption keys generation.
Possible values:
* sha512 — default, compatible with bitcoin;
* scrypt+sha512 — selects scrypt derivation function.Please note that this option only allows you to select default method. If you are already using encrypted wallet then suitable derivation method will be selected automatically.
