Опубликована тестовая ветка, будущий 0.4.

Release 0.3.5

Version 0.3.5 builds published. Changes list:

  • Blocks v3 lock-in since height #14060;
  • Hardened checkpoint at #14189;
  • bnProofOfStakeLimit will switch to 256 * diff-1 target starting since height #15000;

You should remove blkindex.dat and blk0001.dat before starting new client, otherwise you will get assert exception.

Релиз 0.3.5

Билд клиента версии 0.3.5. Изменения:

  • Проверка доли блоков v3 заменена на реджект блоков с версией ниже v3 начиная с #14060, поскольку именно на этом блоке был достигнут целевой порог и далее проверки продолжать нет смысла;
  • Добавлен чекпоинт на блоке #14189;
  • bnProofOfStakeLimit переключится на 1/256 от сложности 1 начиная с блока #15000;
  • Полагаю, что исправлена проблема, приводившая к нестабильности работы Windows-сборки 0.3.4.

После установки нужно перекачать блоки, иначе клиентом пользоваться будет нельзя.

Для перезагрузки блоков надо удалить blkindex.dat и blk0001.dat и запустить клиент.

0.3.4 hotfix build

Из-за ошибки имелась проблема с конфликтом чекпоинта на блоке 13560, на 13559 блоке старый клиент застрял. Однако, это не все. Несколько часов назад кто-то сгенерировал старым клиентом PoS-блок.

Чекпоинт-нодой по причине был успешно подписан, как результат – получившие этот чекпоинт клиенты (в основном, под управлением Windows) ушли в безопасный режим с сообщением “Invalid checkpoint found”.

На данный момент проблема разрешилась сама, без вмешательства. На всякий случай добавил 13560 блок из основной ветки в список чекпонтов в исходниках на Github.

0.3.4 hotfix build

0.3.4 hotfix build is ready. It adds new hardened checkpoint at block #13560.

If you don’t have problem, which is described below, you can ignore this. But anyway, it’s recommended to apply this update, especially if you running mining pool or another service. It will prevent downtime possibility.

If you see “Invalid checkpoint found” message and your client switches to safe mode, you need to install this update and re-download the blockchain. By the way, with win32 client you don’t need sync og the whole blockchain, you can use files from the blockchain snapshot.
